Companies from across the region will come together for what has been billed as the largest business networking event in the East Midlands.
More than 200 exhibitors will attend the Love Business Expo, held at Donington Park International Exhibition Hall, near East Midlands Airport, tomorrow (Thursday, February 16) from 9am to 3pm.
Six industry sectors will be represented – manufacturing and engineering; transport and logistics; leisure, hospitality and retail; innovation, technology and sustainability; construction and property; and a small business zones.
This year's event, which has been organised by Leicestershire-based marketing agency Quiet Storm, is expected to attract more than 4,000 business visitors.
East Midlands Chamber, which will exhibit across three sectors, will use the expo to launch its East Midlands Chamber Business Awards.
The D2N2 local enterprise partnership's Growth Hub will also have a stand, where visitors can find out about the various forms of business support that is available across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
It has teamed up with the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership Business Gateway in the exhibition.
Simon Hall, project manager at D2N2 Growth Hub, said: "Most businesses aren't bound by geography – they want to grow and attract customers from outside of their immediate locality.
"It therefore makes sense that we join forces with our fellow Leicestershire growth hub so that businesses across our respective regions get the best of both worlds."
The event will also involve workshops and keynote speakers from organisations including BT and East Midlands International Trade Association.
