800 jobs on the way as science park enters second phase

Some 800 jobs could be created after plans for the second phase of Lincoln Science and Innovation Park were submitted to Lincoln City Council.

Liz Lake Associates of Nottingham has submitted the outline planning permission for the second phase of the Park.

The firm says that development of this phase will be largely focused around SMEs and the University of Lincoln’s College of Science.

The proposal consists of units ranging between 500 and 3,000 sq m set within six landscaped acres. The development is focused around a central boulevard which links phase 1 with phase 2.

Lincoln Science and Innovation Park was founded in 2012 as a joint venture between the University of Lincoln and the Lincolnshire Co-op.
