£11.1m ERDF Funding Calls to support SMEs

The LLEP is looking to release two further Calls in March under their European Regional Development Fund Programme 2014-20 (ERDF). Activities are being sought in two key areas: SME Competitiveness (PA-3) and ICT (Pa-2).

Approximately £9.8m will be released under SME Competitiveness. This call aims to support local businesses in the Leicester & Leicestershire area to help them become much more competitive and increase their productivity whilst providing much needed finance.

In addition the call will provide the opportunity to support grow-on space where there is demonstrable demand. As a result this Call will have both a capital and revenue element.

The LLEP is expecting a further £1.3m ERDF funding under ICT.  This call aims to provide continued support to businesses to help them take better advantage of social media, marketing and communication opportunities.
